As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified in Animal-Assisted Social Work (AASW) and Equine-Assisted EMDR (EA-EMDR), Emily is the founder of Ustawi Counseling, meaning "well-being" in Swahili. She co-founded Allied Animal Partners in 2024, working with her co-therapist, Wafflez, to promote healing through the human-animal bond.
